FIG General Assembly 2017 – Minutes

The FIG Working Week 2017 attracted around 1400 participants from 90 countries. There was a record number of Member Associations present at the General Assembly – in total 69, representing in total 86 votes. Four new Member Associations were approved by the General Assembly, and FIG Council has since May 2015 approved 7 new corporate and 4 academic members.

ELECTIONS AT 41st GENERAL ASSEMBLY 6 AND 11 MAY 2018

Please note that at the General Assembly there will be elections for the positions as FIG President, two Vice President positions and Chairs of all 10 commissions. FIG Council encourages all Member Associations to consider to take active part in the governance of FIG and to nominate suitable candidates for the positions. Nomination forms will be published on www.fig.net in August.
